FOUNDER

Alina is a registered Architect in New York and Connecticut; she holds certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Board and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects. She is also a certified Passive House Designer. Alina holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Prior to the founding of Cravero Designs, Alina had the privilege of restoring and renovating a variety of historic and non-historic homes across NY and CT, including an 1800s carriage house that was recently awarded the Lucy B. Moses Preservation Award. Reviving historic homes is a passion Alina continues in her own practice. During her 20-year career, Alina amassed a diverse project portfolio, which includes working at a renowned NYC architecture firm as a Senior Project Manager, leading projects of all scales, work scopes, budgets, and typologies, including all-inclusive renovations and additions. Although she specializes in residential work, she has also had the pleasure of working on commercial and small institutional projects such as a small neighborhood Veterinary Hospital, a private Sudbury School, and a retail space for Davidoff of Geneva. In addition to practicing architecture, Alina served as an Adjunct Professor at NYIT early in her career.

A diverse work portfolio holds great value, however, Cravero Designs places a higher significance on the relationships established with each client while creating thoughtfully crafted spaces that are aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, a combination achieved by working closely with each client as well as the entire team of consultants and builders. Listening to the client’s priorities for their projects is what enables the delivery of spaces that exceed expectations. Alina works one-on-one with every client to ensure they are pleased with the work from conception to completion, and beyond.
